PSITTACUS has established its own breeding facilities and other collaborating centers,, gaining a thorough understanding of the specific needs of each bird and parrot species, and recognizing the importance of providing the most suitable diet for every breed. The PSITTACUS product line is formulated based on research findings, designed specifically to offer optimal nutrition for baby parrots. As a complete avian feed powder, no additional supplementation is required, contains all the necessary nutrients for birds to grow healthily.


-Indicated to hand-rear those parrot species that need low fat diets. It contains stable high oleic oil, suitable for their needs. It also contains papaya which favours digestive transit.
-It is a follow-on hand-feeding formula that should be used from the moment pin feathers emerge until weaning. For example, in amazon parrots it is used from the 3rd week of life.
-It is advisable to prepare the formula with lukewarm water at a concentration of approximately 25 % solids. 
-It is recommended to administer the formula with a soft feeding tube.
-At weaning switch progressively to Omega or High Protein.
